If you like to find a $10 wine that doesn’t taste like it, this is a good find. Honestly, I’m more partial to the new world wines and don’t usually find that in something from Italy. This was a pleasant surprise and had a nice fruit component, but not too much and I also noticed a little licorice on the finish. It went well with our grilled burgers tonight and I think that’s about the right mix. I’m not sure I’d serve it with a lamb chop, but for $10, that’s not bad.
